-
At StandTall, we believe the best results come from great collaboration. These guidelines help ensure every project runs smoothly, expectations are clear, and both parties have a positive experience.
For the purposes of a StandTall contract, the terms “Agreement,” “Estimate,” and “Invoice” may be used interchangeably. Once accepted by the Client, the applicable document confirms the services, pricing, and terms agreed upon by both parties.
Booking & Retainers
A project booking is considered confirmed once a signed agreement and required deposit/retainer have been received.
Retainers secure your project time, allow StandTall to begin preparation, and are non-refundable once work has commenced. Remaining balances are due according to the payment schedule outlined in your agreement.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances change. If you need to reschedule a meeting, session, or project milestone, please provide as much notice as possible to allow us the opportunity to accommodate.
Photography sessions and scheduled appointments may be subject to rescheduling fees when cancelled with insufficient notice.
Payments & Late Fees
Invoices are due according to the terms outlined in your agreement.
Late payments may result in paused services, delayed delivery of completed work, or additional administrative fees. Final files, website launches, or completed deliverables may not be released until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.
Project Scope & Additional Work
Each project is created based on the agreed-upon scope of work. Requests outside of the original agreement—including additional revisions, features, services, or changes—may require an updated quote.
StandTall will always communicate any additional costs before proceeding with extra work.
Revisions & Approvals
Your satisfaction is important to us. Each service package includes a defined number of revisions or feedback rounds as outlined in your agreement.
Clients are responsible for reviewing drafts, proofs, and materials carefully. Once final approval has been provided, additional changes may be subject to additional fees.
Rush Projects
Projects requiring completion sooner than the agreed timeline may be accommodated when availability allows. Rush requests may require an additional fee based on the timeline, complexity, and workload required.
Project Delays & Inactivity
StandTall is committed to keeping projects moving forward. Timelines depend on timely communication, approvals, and delivery of required materials from both parties.
Projects delayed due to missing content, approvals, or client inaction may be paused or rescheduled. Extended inactive projects may require a restart fee to account for scheduling and preparation.
Refunds
Because creative and administrative services involve dedicated time, planning, and customized work, payments for completed work, deposits, and retainers are generally non-refundable.
If concerns arise, we encourage open communication so we can work together toward a fair solution.
Ownership & Intellectual Property
Upon final payment, clients receive ownership or usage rights for completed deliverables as outlined in their agreement.
StandTall retains ownership of original working files, drafts, concepts, templates, photography and unused designs unless otherwise agreed.
Third-party assets, software, fonts, stock images, and licensed materials remain subject to their original licensing terms.
Photography Licensing
Photography services include usage rights as outlined in your photography agreement.
Clients may use purchased images for approved business purposes, including websites, social media, marketing materials, and advertising. Images may not be resold, altered in a misleading manner, or transferred to another business without permission.
Portfolio & Marketing Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, StandTall may showcase completed projects, designs, photography, and client results within our portfolio, website, and marketing materials.
We will respect confidential information and will not share private business details without permission.
Confidentiality & Privacy
StandTall respects the privacy of all clients and confidential business information.
Client information, passwords, documents, and business data will only be accessed as needed to provide agreed-upon services and will be handled with care.
Clients are responsible for providing secure access and ensuring StandTall has appropriate authorization to complete requested tasks.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, required materials, and appropriate access needed to complete the project.
StandTall cannot be held responsible for delays, errors, or missed deadlines caused by incomplete information, unavailable materials, or lack of client approval.

StandTall is not responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including third-party software issues, platform changes, hosting interruptions, or client misuse of completed work.
Unexpected Circumstances
Neither party shall be responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including technical failures, illness, natural events, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Both parties agree to communicate openly and work together to find a reasonable solution.
